Renato Ghiazza was born in Turin, Italy in 1955. He studied Philosophy and Aesthetics at the University of Turin and in 1976 founded  G.R.M. (Group for Materialistic Research), for which he has produced various interventions, installations, and performances both in Europe and the United States.

 

From mid-eighties, he was part of the movement Arte Debole (Weak Art), with which he exhibited in many galleries and museum both in US and Europe.

 

In 2003 he moved to Ireland and started taking interest in photography as an artistic media.

Since 2011, he works as professional photographers for artists, galleries and museums.
